My Story

Why I created 'thatsclassickatherine'

Ever since I could remember, I loved creating a look everyday. From my hair clips to my clothes. As a creative person, I could express myself through my hairstyles, outfits, and makeup. I love looking put together all the time, but life gets busy... trying to keep up with work, making time for family and friends, you lose time to prioritize yourself.

I needed to prioritize other things and would find myself too lazy to get my hair done, to shop, and to cook... Let's be honest, we're all so tired all the time. Which is why, I made it a point to figure out some shortcuts because there had to be! I found some time saving 'go-to' skincare/beauty products, clothes, & recipes, to make my everyday life easy and stay on budget!

It became a running joke with my friends that I always managed to look 'more dressed up' and put together whether it was going to the grocery store, it didn't matter, I loved looking polished on the outside because it was something I could control in this unpredictable life. Naturally, this turned into a very 'classic katherine' thing.

So...after years of trial and error, I've found easy and simple ways (& still am) to look and feel put together which I'm so excited to share with you! When you have a routine that makes everyday life or occasions easier to get through, you get to give your energy to more important things in life.

With that said, I can't wait to share all my tips and tricks with you to staying, classy & effortless.
